On April 11, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released the data of production and sales in March 2012. In March, the production and sales of automobiles performed well, which was the highest level of production and sales in March of the calendar year. In March, the growth rate of passenger car production and sales
In March, among the major commercial vehicle varieties, the growth rate of semi-trailer tractors was lower than that of the previous month, and other varieties showed rapid growth; compared with the same period of last year, the growth rate of passenger cars was the highest, and the passenger cars were not complete. Vehicles increased slightly, while other varieties declined, among which semi-trailer tractors and trucks had more significant declines in non-completed vehicles. In March, the production and sales of passenger cars were 37,400 and 36,900, an increase of 30.12% and 31.92% from the previous period, an increase of 12.39% and 8.81% year-on-year; and the production and sales of trucks were 297,400 and 310,200, a month-on-month increase of 23.44% and 25.26%, representing a year-on-year decrease of 1.16. % and 4.45%; production and sales of semi-trailer tractors were 26,700 and 26,100 units, an increase of 2.61% and 0.96% from the previous period, a year-on-year decrease of 13.97% and 23.40%; and production and sales of non-complete passenger vehicles were all 0.70 units, an increase of 42.32% from the previous period. 39.94%, a year-on-year increase of 0.06% and 2.09%; the production and sales of non-integrated trucks were 56,300 and 58,400 vehicles, an increase of 20.89% and 23.01% from the previous period, a year-on-year decrease of 21.56% and 28.29%.

There were 64,200 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 13.23% and 16.39%; the production and sales of non-integrated passenger vehicles were 16,500 and 17,700, which was a year-on-year decrease of 6.24% and 4.93%; the production and sales of non-integrated trucks were 138,300 and 130,500, a year-on-year decrease of 29.72%. Great Wall grew at the fastest rate in March
Compared with February, the growth rate of the Great Wall was the fastest, Jianghuai, Jinbei and Nanjing Steam increased slightly, while other companies declined in different degrees, of which heavy trucks ranked the top decline. In March, the top ten commercial vehicle sales companies were: Beiqi Foton, Dongfeng, JAC, FAW, Jinbei, Jiangling, CNHTC, Nanqi, Chongqing Chang'an, and Great Wall, with sales of 78,000 units and 71,200 units respectively. There were 33,800, 30,600, 23,400, 20,600, 16,900, 15,000, 14,400 and 13,600. The above-mentioned ten companies sold 317,500 commercial vehicles, accounting for 72.39% of the total commercial vehicle sales.
Compared with the same period of 2011, the sales volume of the Great Wall, Nanqi and Jinbei continued to grow steadily, with other companies experiencing mixed declines, with heavy-duty trucks and Chongqing Chang'an falling even more significantly. From January to March, the top ten commercial vehicle sales companies were: Beiqi Foton, Dongfeng, JAC, FAW, Jinbei, Jiangling, CNHTC, Nanjing Auto, Great Wall, and Chongqing Chang'an, with sales of 174,300 units and 15.96 units, respectively. There were 10,000 vehicles, 7.58 million vehicles, 72,300 vehicles, 57,500 vehicles, 49,000 vehicles, 44,300 vehicles, 37,000 vehicles, 33,900 vehicles and 32,500 vehicles. The above-mentioned ten companies sold a total of 736,200 commercial vehicles, accounting for 72.25% of the total sales of commercial vehicles.
