China Automobile Association: Overall export of engine parts in May was stable

According to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the export situation of engines and components was generally stable in May 2009, and its performance was better than that of imports.

Including: Engine exports were 225.7 thousand units, a month-on-month decrease of 3.05% and a year-on-year decrease of 59.89%; Export value was US$49.09 million, a year-on-year increase of 22.76% and a year-on-year decrease of 60.81%; Auto parts, accessories, and body exports were US$1.144 billion, a decrease of 0.62%. , a year-on-year decrease of 31.69%; exports of automobile and motorcycle tires amounted to US$574 million, a year-on-year increase of 8.71%, a year-on-year decrease of 7.74%; and exports of other automobile-related products amounted to US$430 million, a month-on-month increase of 9.57%, and a year-on-year decrease of 31.33%.

In May, the total export value of the above-mentioned four categories of automobile products was 2.197 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 76.36% of the total export volume of automobile products in the country.
