Jiangsu Province has established a number of provincial-level science and technology research and development centers for the implementation of the strategy for strengthening science and technology with the “leading level of the industry in the province and the first phalanx in China†as the standard. The strong polyolefin research and development strength of Yangzi Petrochemical was highly valued by the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu Province. Jiangsu Polyolefin R&D Center was approved to be listed in November 2008 and became the only provincial-level engineering and technology research center for olefin polymerization and post-processing applications in Jiangsu Province. Since the establishment of the center, the company has focused on breakthroughs in key catalyst technologies needed for the development of new polyolefin materials, continuously improved the construction of engineering hardware and software platforms, and continued innovative R&D of new polyolefin materials, achieving a series of outstanding results.
Yangzi Petrochemical's “Provincial Engineering Center†has spent a year and a half. The conditions of software and hardware have already met the project contract requirements.
