Hager hybrid bus adopts ISG hybrid system

Wu Wenwen told reporters: “Haeger buses have a new start for new energy buses. It can be said that Hager buses have been making new energy buses for many years, but now they are all over.” Wu Wenwen said so, not referring to Hagrid’s previous efforts. The new energy bus is not doing well, but this year will be a new level. In fact, the performance of the Hager hybrid bus in 2013 was impressive, with sales of more than 940 vehicles, and its growth rate was ahead of the industry. Wu Wenwen said that Hager's new energy bus "starts from the beginning," and its important reason is that Hagrid's plug-in hybrid buses have new technical routes and more fixed parts suppliers, as well as more stable and mature products. .

When interviewed by Director of the New Energy Research Institute of Higer Passenger Cars, Weilin Zhang revealed: “Hager hybrid buses use the ISG hybrid system, which is a coaxial direct-drive hybrid system where the motor and the engine directly drive the wheels of the vehicle; The other domestic hybrid buses mainly use the BSG hybrid system, that is, the belt-driven generator. "The current research and development of ISG hybrid systems is very few in China, and Haige is one of them." Zhang Weilin further explained The advantage of this system lies in the fact that “vehicles using the ISG hybrid system do not require gearboxes for power transmission and torque conversion, which reduces the loss of power to the transmission system and results in higher transmission efficiency.”

It is understood that, in addition to Hagrid's own ISG hybrid system, Yutong also uses the ISG system. Yutong can be said to come from behind in the field of new energy buses, after which it has firmly occupied the top position in sales, leading the entire bus industry in the field of new energy. In particular, Yutong accounted for about 90% of the total sales of plug-in hybrid buses in December last year.

Talking about the ISG hybrid system, Tang Yuxiang said that this technical route has very good business prospects. "This is similar to Honda's technology line. Yutong's plug-in hybrid bus has no gearbox and is completely superior to other technology routes in the market. The hybrid bus of this kind of system has a relatively low cost and the project is relatively good and has been fully demonstrated. There is still demand for such a car."

Zhongtong Bus also believes that the current maturity of new energy bus technologies has been greatly improved, and product performance is no longer comparable. Compared with traditional fuel buses, plug-in hybrid buses have a significant fuel saving effect. Li Tongsheng, Minister of Culture of Zhongtong Bus Enterprise, told the reporter: “In the past, hybrid buses could achieve fuel economy rates of 20% or even 30%. The current plug-in hybrid buses are more energy efficient than previous hybrid buses. Further improve."

Parts prices drop New energy bus costs drop

The increase in sales of new energy buses comes from demand and supply. On the one hand, customer demand will increase, and sales will, of course, increase. On the other hand, as prices decline, sales volume will increase.

This year, an obvious feature of new energy buses is the drop in vehicle prices caused by the sharp drop in parts prices.

Starting last year, the state’s subsidies for new energy buses have declined. In particular, the subsidies for hybrid buses have not only been reduced from the previous 420,000 yuan to 250,000 yuan, but also to the plug-in models with body lengths of 10 meters and above.

However, after the subsidy fell, users did not feel that the price of cars had risen. On the contrary, the prices of plug-in hybrid buses of some brands are lower than those of ordinary hybrid buses. Zhang Weilin said: “Hager's hybrid bus is worth more than 800,000 yuan. If the national subsidy of 250,000 yuan is subtracted, the actual price is only about 600,000 yuan, which is similar to the cost of an ordinary diesel bus, but its energy-saving performance is better. Many, because with the development of new energy passenger car parts and components in the past two years, the prices of many parts and components have been reduced, and the price of new energy buses has also been gradually reduced.”

Li Shengsheng holds the same view: “The drop in the price of spare parts for hybrid buses comes from two factors: one is technical progress; the other is that with the increase in purchase volume, many fixed costs are diluted. Therefore, now Hybrid buses can be sold to users at a lower price than before, even with lower subsidies.” Li Shengsheng said that the price of Zhongtong plug-in new energy bus is about RMB 700,000, only after subsidy More than 500,000 yuan is almost the same as ordinary bus prices, but such vehicles have very good energy-saving and emission-reduction effects. Many demonstration cities naturally prefer to plug-in new-energy buses.

Tang Yuxiang believes that the state should vigorously promote new energy buses. “As far as ordinary hybrid buses are concerned, the cost that users spend on buying a car will run for several years, and the saved fuel money will make up for it.”

For the new energy market in 2014, which will significantly increase this, Sun Qingmin said: “In 2014, the hot spot of the passenger car market was still concentrated on new energy passenger cars and gas passenger cars. New energy passenger cars are moving towards rapid industrialization under the stimulation of national policies. It is expected that there will be a better market performance in 2014."

Li Shengsheng said such a reason: “Last year, the state ended ten thousand cities and began a new round of new energy demonstration city encouragement plan. This plan requires new energy demonstration cities to achieve certain promotion of new energy vehicles in 2013-2015. However, both Zhang Weilin and Li Yusheng stressed: “Because subsidy is limited to a new batch of demonstration cities, the promotion of new energy buses is not easy for cities that have not entered the list.”
