New high-sensitivity image sensor MT9V136

Aptina Corporation recently announced the availability of the MT9V136 high-sensitivity image sensor solution, which uses a more fully-integrated single-chip system-on-chip (SOC) design to provide excellent low-light performance. Today we will introduce the new image sensor product in detail, hoping to help everyone.

The sensor's advanced image processing engine and new algorithms combined with unique pixel technologies provide camera manufacturers with improved auto white balance and auto exposure capabilities to achieve uncompromising image performance. In addition, the MT9V136 offers lens correction for ease of manufacture, as well as an analog video NTSC/PAL encoder and a 60fps progressive scan digital image output rate. This high-performance VGA sensor expands Aptina's complete range of surveillance products from analog CCTV sensor solutions to high-definition sensors.

The MT9V136 image sensor responds to the imaging needs of manufacturers producing versatile, high-performance surveillance camera systems. Aptina's new image sensor system incorporates advanced features such as active pixel design, sophisticated image processing engine, integrated NTSC/PAL encoder, programmable on-site display (OSD) functionality, and high-performance flash interface. These features together create a complete CCTV surveillance camera system with a single chip design to achieve a lower bill of materials (BOM) cost, reduce the number of components, and reduce power consumption without affecting image quality or low illumination Under the performance.

The MT9V136 analog output has two kinds of single-ended output and differential output. This product differentiation option is convenient for camera manufacturers to meet the needs of end users. With the MT9V136's embedded differential analog output, cameras from camera manufacturers can return superior quality video from more than 250 meters away without the need for any video signal amplifiers. In addition to applying the MT9V136 image sensor solution to traditional CCTV designs, its digital output also allows IP camera manufacturers to produce high-performance web cameras with 60 fps progressive scan output capability. Features such as new lens corrections can reduce production costs, and Aptina's off-the-shelf CCTV reference designs can help manufacturers quickly develop prototypes and validate designs, thereby reducing time to market.

Determine the effective focal length, the back focal length, and the effective numerical aperture of a Ball Lens based on its diameter, its refractive index, and the diameter of the collimated beam entering or exiting the ball lens. The effective numerical aperture of the application can only be calculated if the user knows the beam diameter. Knowing the numerical aperture is particularly useful when using ball lenses to couple light from a fiber to a laser or to another fiber.
